An Inviting Escape
Angles-sur-l'Anglin is classified as one of the most beautiful villages in France and lies in an extremely beautiful riverside setting, dominated by its castle ruins. Adding to the charm are an old watermill by the slow-running Anglin river, the cobbled alleyways, the stone-arch bridge, the turretted manor houses and the village square with its plane trees.
The village is situated in the south-west; 346 km south of Paris, 319 km north of Bordeaux, 200 km east of La Rochelle and 43 km east of Poitiers. The region is called Nouvelle Aquitaine and the département Vienne.
